No. My Wealth Ledger is 100% offline. The app never connects to the internet — there are no servers, no cloud sync, no account and no analytics. Everything you enter is stored in a local encrypted SQLCipher database on your own Windows PC.
Your entire diary is encrypted at rest with SQLCipher — the database file is unreadable without your key — and the app locks with a personal 4–6 digit PIN. The PIN is never stored in plain text; only a salted cryptographic hash is kept, with a security-question recovery option if you forget it.
All data lives in a single encrypted SQLCipher database in a folder you choose on your own computer. Nothing is uploaded, synced or shared anywhere. You can move your vault to any folder on your device at any time.
Backup is as simple as copying your vault folder to a USB drive, external disk or your own cloud storage. To restore, point the app at the folder again. Since the file is encrypted, it's protected by your PIN and security question too.
Yes. You can export your full diary to CSV at any time, and generate a beautifully formatted PDF report with cashflow, profit & loss and charts. My Wealth Ledger also imports records from CSV when you want to bring data in.

Cloud finance apps route your data through a server and usually monetise it. My Wealth Ledger is the opposite: every byte stays on your device inside an encrypted vault, the app runs without internet, and no tracker or analytics SDK is included. Your finances are a private matter.
My Wealth Ledger runs on Windows 10 and Windows 11. It's a lightweight desktop app available through the Microsoft Store.
