End-User License Agreement

1. Grant of License

TheHobbyist ("the Author") grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use My Wealth Ledger ("the Application") on your own device for personal, non-commercial use. This license does not grant you ownership of the Application or its source code, and you may not copy, modify, distribute, sublicense, sell, rent, or reverse-engineer it, except as expressly permitted by law.

2. The Application Is Fully Offline

The Application is a completely offline, local, client-side software product. It is not a client-server or software-as-a-service application. The Application:

• Does not connect to any remote server
• Does not require an internet connection
• Does not store, transmit, or back up your data on any external or cloud service

Consequently, the Application provides no remote data storage, no automatic backup, and no data-recovery service of any kind.

3. Your Responsibility to Back Up Your Data

All data you create in the Application is stored exclusively in an encrypted database file on your own device. You acknowledge and agree that:

• You are solely and entirely responsible for creating and maintaining your own backups of this data (for example, by copying your vault folder to another location or storage medium).
• Loss, corruption, theft, damage, or accidental deletion of your device, its storage, or your vault files can result in the permanent, unrecoverable loss of all of your financial data.
• The Author does not and cannot recover, restore, or re-create any lost data.

4. No Warranty

The Application is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including, without limitation, any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or availability. The Author makes no warranty that the Application will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of defects, or that the data it produces or stores will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any purpose.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Author shall not be liable for any damages whatsoever, whether direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary, including, without limitation, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of data, loss of savings or capital, financial loss, or damages for personal injury, arising out of or in any way connected with the use or inability to use the Application, even if the Author has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

6. Financial Advice Disclaimer

The Application is a record-keeping and organizational tool. It does not provide investment, tax, legal, or financial advice. Any totals, projections, or reports generated by the Application are informational only and you should not rely on them as professional advice. You remain fully responsible for your own financial decisions.

7. Acceptance of Risk

You acknowledge that your financial information is sensitive, and you agree to use reasonable measures to protect your device and your PIN. The Author cannot be held responsible for unauthorized access to your data resulting from the loss or sharing of your PIN, theft of your device, or use of your device by others.

8. Termination

This license is effective until terminated. You may terminate it at any time by uninstalling the Application and deleting all copies of the Application and your vault data. The Author may terminate this license at any time if you breach any provision of this Agreement. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Application and destroy all copies in your possession.

9. Intellectual Property

The Application, including all code, design, graphics, and documentation, is the exclusive property of the Author and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved.

10. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Author is located, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

11. Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and the Author regarding the Application and supersedes all prior agreements, understandings, and communications, whether written or oral.

By using the Application, you acknowledge that you have read this Agreement, understand it, and agree to be bound by its terms and conditions.
